A word from Tara: Weddings at Stonover Farm never disappoint. With it's expansive lawn and magnificent barn, it combines generosity of space with a feeling of intimacy. And you can't beat the colorful chickens wandering around the lush landscape!Read more
Erin was particularly interesting to work with as we are in associated industries (she is a documentary film producer and production specialist) – we didn’t lack for conversation subjects! I had the pleasure of working with Erin, her maids, her mom, and her ceremony officiant, and everyone was a delight.Read more
When Jocelyn from Love Bird sent me this wedding at the Kemble Inn in Lenox, MA, I just couldn't wait to show you this gorgeous red wedding dress! What a bold statement from such a lovely bride! And it goes just perfectly with the bright turquoise walls, don't you think? Great choice, Renee!Read more
Emily booked me in advance and then came for her preview session a few months before her wedding. As I did her makeup, I noticed she was looking at me intently, but I didn’t think much of it. She and her husband have two beloved dogs (see photo below!) and so we were swapping canine stories, and in the course of the conversation I told her about my brother’s beasts. When I said one of them was an Irish Wolfhound, she got a funny look on her face, but when I said that other dog was a Tamaskan, she started saying “OH MY GOD!” repeatedly.Read more
Hewmun and her husband John live in Boston but tied the knot at their gorgeous summer retreat on a blueberry farm tucked away in the Berkshires. The rustic setting couldn’t have been more perfect for a bride who described her personal style as “unconventional, with a touch of glamour.” (I’m all about that!)Read more
From Liz: June 7th was one of the most-requested dates of the 2014 bridal season, and I was fortunate to be able to accept two weddings that day – the first of which took place at a luxurious B&B in the beautiful Berkshires (just a stone’s throw from Tanglewood!) Devon was easygoing, upbeat, and overall a delight to work with, as were all seven of her friends and family that I had the opportunity to beautify that morning. I’m so glad her fabulous photographer recommended me!Read more
From Liz: Maria came to me after seeing my work on the Berkshire Wedding Collective site, and promptly grabbed my last available June Saturday. She works in theater, and has the engaging personality to match – and she loves her makeup bold and lashes long! I used a Sephora cream lip stain in a vibrant fuchsia shade to create a long-lasting bright lip, and black eyeliner and shimmery champagne on the lids to set off her incredible blue eyes.Read more
It’s always a cool vote of confidence when someone who works in the cosmetic industry hires me for their wedding! NJ-based Carla has worked for cosmetic manufacturers and has an encyclopedic knowledge of product formulation, and described herself as “very choosy” about makeup. It was a pleasure geeking out with her about makeup and serving up a little Hollywood glamour for her wedding in the Berkshires!

This Berkshires MA wedding took place at a gingerbread-style house in Tyringham MA that is straight out of a Disney fairy tale. Because she is an out-of-stater, Jackie and I never had a trial – she hired me based purely on the strength of my portfolio and reviews (very flattering!) She wanted to go for a slightly scaled-down version of the Kim Kardashian eye: smoky earthtones to match her outgoing personality (and quirky wedding venue in the Berkshires).Read more
Like many of my recent ones, this beautiful wedding at a Vanderbilt estate in Lenox, MA was heavily rained upon (forcing the ceremony indoors), but you’d never know it from all the smiles! Kayte and her family and friends were too busy soaking up the joy of the day to worry about the weather, and they were a delight to work with. It was a big group so friend & fellow artist Shreni Patel accompanied me to the Berkshires to get everyone prepped.
Kayte works for Chanel (check out those fabulous shoes!) so I incorporated the brand’s eyeshadow and lipstick into her final look, along with lots of lashes and glowing airbrushed skin. Her dress was a dream and the flowers absolutely took my breath away.

Sporadic rain showers couldn’t put a damper on the sheer joy of this beautiful May ceremony in the Berkshires! I did makeup for bride Lizzie as well as her mom, grandmom, mother in law, and 3 bridesmaids – everyone got a unique look tailored to their features (including lots of lush lashes). Lizzie’s big brown eyes looked especially striking with dark liner and warm peachy tones, a look that guaranteed her eyes would stand out even behind the veil. I’m so delighted to be able to share photos AND video from her gorgeous wedding!
