KATE & EVAN'S WEDDING AT RED CLOVER INN

Kate & Evan were married at the Red Clover Inn in Killington, Vermont. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding & so full of love from family and friends. The fall colors were beautiful and we took advantage of them while making portraits. We were able to make a photo from above of all the wedding guests, which is one of my favorite things to do – my wife and I really cherish the photo we have of all our family and friends together on our wedding day.

TRICIA & ARIEL'S WEDDING AT STONOVER FARM

A word from the photographer: When I first met Tricia + Ariel last year I felt as though I had known them my whole life and on their wedding day, I could not have felt more at ease around the two of them. They are just so genuine, honest, funny and warm that you instantly feel a gravitational pull towards them. Their Fall wedding at Stonover Farm in the Berkshires of Massachusetts was radiant and beautiful just like the two of them and every moment and detail was photographing paradise. I especially loved the bride's ridiculously elegant gown, the seamless dual-faith ceremony and just how effortless every handmade detail was -- it was just perfection and I am so excited to share a little selection from it!

JENN & BRIAN'S WEDDING AT GEDNEY FARM

Jenn & Brian were so fun. They didn’t want to see each other until the ceremony, but then made plenty of time to make portraits during the cocktail hour. It worked out better for them and for the pictures, because the light after the ceremony was so much prettier, softer and dramatic. Pre-ceremony portraits that day would have been tougher to make in the direct overhead sunlight.

ERIN & SEAN'S WEDDING AT THE OLD INN ON THE GREEN

Their wedding was a small family gathering, with sweet, candid moments between loved ones. The intimacy of the small group allowed us to capture genuine and quality time between Erin and Sean and all of their guests. I think this type of wedding is so special, and the honor of being in attendance among the dearest people in their life is not lost on me.

ASHLEY & ANDREW'S WEDDING AT CRANWELL RESORT

There is so much personality in this wedding, like Ashley's obsession for cows and how she incorporated that throughout the wedding in socks for the guys, cow placecard holders and cow bells at every table. Not to mention that a friend actually made a life size cow for her out of paper mache and they put it on the lawn at Cranwell.

JESS & JAKE'S WEDDING AT THE MOUNT

They might have made their first connection online, but they realized during one of their first conversations that their paths could have crossed a long time ago when they were children playing on the same beach in the same small Stockbridge lake community where each one's grandparents owned a summer house.

ERIN & ERIC'S WEDDING IN LENOX MA

Erin was particularly interesting to work with as we are in associated industries (she is a documentary film producer and production specialist) – we didn’t lack for conversation subjects! I had the pleasure of working with Erin, her maids, her mom, and her ceremony officiant, and everyone was a delight.

WHITNEY & GRADY'S NOVEMBER CRANWELL WEDDING

Before November there was no circumstance I could have imagined that would cause me to miss one of my couples' special day. As a wedding photographer we bind ourselves to the dates our brides and grooms reserve us for, well in advance. I personally believe they've made such an important choice when selecting their photographer and it's a commitment I take very seriously.

This wedding truly filled my spirit and my heart.  Cancer is a disease no one can prepare themselves for, whether you are the patient or the person who loves the patient.  Michelle is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, and she is so incredibly strong and vibrant. The love that she and Peter share is so evident, and every moment of their wedding day radiated with warmth!

EMILY'S GORGEOUS FALL WEDDING IN LENOX, MA

Emily booked me in advance and then came for her preview session a few months before her wedding. As I did her makeup, I noticed she was looking at me intently, but I didn’t think much of it. She and her husband have two beloved dogs (see photo below!) and so we were swapping canine stories, and in the course of the conversation I told her about my brother’s beasts. When I said one of them was an Irish Wolfhound, she got a funny look on her face, but when I said that other dog was a Tamaskan, she started saying “OH MY GOD!” repeatedly.

REBECCA AND AUSTIN'S BERKSHIRES MA WEDDING

A word from the brideAustin and I met at work three years ago. Austin is a chef and I am the event planner for Savory Harvest Catering. I would say it was love at first site for both parties, but it took some push from both sides. I thought Austin was younger than he was and he didn't think I was available. We started dating about six months after meeting and got engaged about nine months after that. We were engaged about a year and a half before getting married, so we took some time to plan and make sure our day was perfect. You could say it was a whirlwind romance!
