I take my work very seriously…

…myself, not so much! I LOVE what I do and quite literally always ask myself how this is actually my life. This doesn’t mean that every day is amazing, but I count myself very lucky to be surrounded by such talented colleagues and discerning clients. Life is so much more fun with a sense of humor and a glass of rosé!

I’m ridiculously camera-shy and suffer from stage fright.

In fact…I don’t even have to be on stage to get freaked out. Just pretend to start interviewing me and you’ll see what I mean. This wouldn’t normally be a problem, except that my career seems to be taking me down a “public-speaking” path. As my New York Times journalist friend has told me on multiple occasions, “You REALLY need some help.” (Now that I think about it, I hope this is what she’s referring to…)

I know when to rein it in.

Like most of my colleagues, I am a true event SNOB. I believe in thinking outside the box, punctuating your timeline with little “wow” moments, and flawlessly executing every minute of your day. I want your event to be the best. I want people to leave there talking about it for the next twenty years.
